Buchenwald.

Picutre From: radfilms.com
This is a picutre of Buchenwald. This is one of the places Elie and his father were during the Holocaust. This picutre is dark to me and shows that it doesnt look bad still you get inside. I can only imagine what the prisoners thought of this place. This picture reminds me in the book when they finally arive to a camp and their all just so tired and cold and they just want to go home. This is really sad to me. I think that this picutre is horrible because I think of all the kids and parents having to go in and loose their lives.

The Children.

Picutre From: adl.org

These two kids survived the Holocaust. This picture reminds me that they didnt care if you were eighty, forty, or three. They were treated as if they werent even real people. This picture reminds me that in the the book NIGHT all the kids that were being put on cattle cars with their parents, just normal kids and they had no clue what was going on. I also reminds me of the time where they told them to go right or left with their parents. This goes to show how much hatred there was towards the Jews.

Racial Hatred

Picture from: vosizneias.com
This picture shows a lot of hatred. I think its saying that they dont care who you are or what you do, as long as your a Jew, you get treated with disrespect. These people are being held because of their religion and thats what makes it memorable. I think in todays time you wont see people being held at gun point because of your religion. These people look like regular hard working people and their being looked at by the guard like their crap. This is also memorable because things have changed so much.

Almost A Concussion

So on our amazing days off me and Cameron (my boyfriend) decided to go sleding. I was all ready in all my big clothes like the kid off The Christmas Story. I had a awesome idea of snowboarding on a sled. That was not a good idea. I went down first and it was good and I didnt fall, woo-hoo. Then I got a little bit cocky and yelled to Cameron to watch me. I went flying down at a fast rate and my legs went up in the air. I landed on the ground head first on a patch of ice. It was a good time...not. After laying on the ground for what it felt like an hour, Camerons dog Avery ran to me and tackled me. Cameron was on the top of the hill laughing. I thought I had a concussion, but I was fine, or so I think.
